Using this site you can submit a request and recieve a permit. GARAGE SALE SIGN REGULATIONS: 1.) One(1) on site "Garage Sale" sign and four(4) offsite directional signs per garage sale shall be allowed without a sign permit. Note: The city no longer provides "Garage Sale" signs. 2.)Signs must be placed at least 10(ten) feet from the front property line of the lot and at least 5 (five) feet from the adjoining lot line. 3.) The maximum sign area shall be 4(four) square feet. 4.)Signs must be removed on the last day of the sale. 5.)If garage sale is not held due to rain, City Clerk's Office must be notified by the following Monday by 4:00 p.m. 6.)DO NOT PLACE ANY SIGNS IN THE RIGHT OF WAYS OR MEDIANS OR ATTACHED TO ANY STREET SIGN OR TRAFFIC DEVICE; AND IF IN VIOLATION YOU WILL BE SUBJECT TO CODE ENFORCEMENT ACTION.
