IMPACT FEES
Impact Fees are a one-time charge incurred when
homeowners hookup to City Services. These fees, plus a $10.00
lien fee, may be paid over a six-year term after the initial 15%
down payment is made. Billing will occur annually.

BETTERMENT FEES
Betterment Fees are one-time fees charged when properties
are not in an assessment area but have City services available.
These fees are due and payable at the time of construction.
Customers may also choose a 15-year payment plan at eight (8)
percent interest.
• Water distribution: $0.1406 per square foot.
• Wastewater collection: $0.4811 per square
foot.
• Irrigation Water distribution: $0.1893
per square foot.
• For connection to water construction lines completed
prior to 1988: $0.096 per square foot.
• For connection to wastewater construction lines
after 1988: $0.20 per square foot
OTHER SPECIAL FEES
The City charges fees for vacant lot mowing, stormwater
runoff and special assessments (potable water, sewer and irrigation).
Refer to the Billing Division for a description of these services
and accompanying rates.
MISCELLANEOUS CHARGES:
• New account charge: $ 50.00 ( will appear on the
first bill)
• Turn-on, turn-off for existing customers during
normal business hours: $18.00 (each time)
• Turn-on turn-off for existing customers, not during
regular working hours: $ 22.00 (each time)
• Late penalty charge: $ 5.00
