SFWMD APPROVES CITY VARIANCE
The South Florida Water Management District has approved the City's variance, which will allow customers on the City's dual-water system to water two days per week. All other irrigation sources are subject to the stricter, one-day schedule.
Most customers on the dual-water system would maintain the same days currently allowed. However, residents with addresses ending with a "0" or "1" will be moved to Monday and Friday. Also, the time in which a resident can water is restricted to a specific four-hour block. The four-hour block will depend on the last number of your house address.
PLEASE NOTE: This variance only applies to dual-water customers. See the section for "All Other Sources of Irrigation" for residents who use private wells, potable, canals, lakes for irrigation.
Here is the watering schedule for "single-family" residential, dual-water customers only.
