Students working in clay get to experience the thrill of having their pieces fired in the biggest gas-fired reduction kiln in the area. From sculpture to wheel work, functional to abstract, students of all ages and levels of ability love these classes! Advanced students also have the opportunity to work in Raku, an ancient Japanese method of firing.
In addition, the Arts Studio is THE place for Glass enthusiasts! With classes offered in traditional copper-foil, Stained Glass, Glass Fusing (kiln fired glass) and Lampwork Glass Bead Making (torch work), students have a wide variety of disciplines to choose from that are downright HOT!
