The Accounting Division administers the City’s payroll operations in a manner that accurately processes and accounts for personnel transactions. The Accounting Division is responsible for processing payroll, distributing paychecks to all City employees and preparing a W2 for each employee.

The City of Cape Coral has more than 1,900 regular and contract employees. Approximately 850 employees are involved in a direct deposit program with over 60 different banking institutions.
