Civic/Community Involvement: Served on the City’s Budget Review Committee and Dispute Resolution Committee.  Worked with FEMA following Hurricane Charley.  He presently is the Southwest Area Vice President of the Military Officers Association of America, a member of the Cape Coral Art League, Cape Coral Republican Club and Lee County Executive Committee.  He also is “Cork Master” of a local wine tasting group. 
Military: Retired Army colonel – served in Vietnam and Gulf War. 
Family: Wife Janet and son Billy, who is an officer with the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol Protection Service in Newark, NJ
